Does anybody know who in the AD is responsible for the jumbotron gameday management? Vastly improved this year, but had one suggestion and wanted to know who to communicate it to....thanks!

I don't know for sure but you should try the GM for learfield (SP). I know they handle most of the promo stuff and ads.

while I don't always agree with the music and think some of the stuff is corney (chalk that up to personal preference) the production value and quality of content is dramatically better than past years and better than any college road game I've been to

I would guess Benny Ashford , who is in charge of the TV Center I believe..or Chad Thomas who does Gameday Management/Marketing.

Sometimes it's the little things, like when our band is going down to the field for halftime, they'll play Hail State and Go State over the speakers when the band normally would.

And while O Fortuna is one of the most badass songs ever written, having a song whose main theme is "luck's a ***** and is out to ruin your life" may not be the best song for a pregame video.

I like the music for the most part and was enjoying the LSU/Georgia game that was showing. I like alot of the features on there, but that monster is too loud. Before anyone jumps on me for being too old, I grew up on heavy metal and still listen to it. But, I like to listen to Jack and Jim and when that thing is belting out, I can't even hear my walkman with the headphones on full blast. Even though it gives it a hockey game feel, it should be dialed down just a little.

....is the rather boring music someone chose for the band video. I'm okay with there being a band video, because other places, such as Auburn for one example, have absolutely badass band intro videos, but the choice of that blah music kills ours.

You listen to heavy metal and you think our Jumbobadassatron should be turned down? Somethings not right.

I never listened to it so loud that I had to lip read the person next to me.

Agree. Its getting pretty close to pro sports quality stuff. About the only thing we don't do that I've liked and seen at a pro sports venue is some blockbuster/netflix sponsored thing where they show a short movie clip (like Braveheart rallying the warriors, or the slow clap in Friday Night Lights..or whatever that football movie was) that pertains to that point in the game.

section C right down by it, and its not bad. I think the volume is about right because, when the crowd gets into it on 3rd down and the bells are ringing, they can still drown out the moo-tube.
