I wasnt the only one- we actually have a good little group of guys that have some baseball knowledge on here. But my name was called out very frequently when Cohen and the guys were struggling with injuries.

So, just add another to the long, long list since 2003

You catch alot of crap on this board....some of it earned...but there is absolutely no question that you've been spot on about Cohen.

Jesus, you're annoying. And you don't even realize it. Or maybe you do and you do it anyway. Which is worse?

I still remember the day Hamnu said Stansbury was a better coach than Cohen. The one thing that really grinds my gears is the Cohen haters forget that he is one of our own. The arrogant SoB went to school here. He has done a tremendous job recuiting and building the program. We are beyond lucky that he has such a deep respect for our program and that it's his dream job. Without a doubt one of better baseball coaches in the country and hopefully is here to stay for a long long time.

Regardless if you are wrong or right on a subject, you are definitely the most dramatic poster on this board, you have traits that mimic the average, emotional female. Winner, hands down.

When Georgia wins 14 conference games and gets left out of a regional

And we can add that to the long list of times you were wrong

But yes, you were dead on with Cohen, I agreed with you too ... so congrats to us both

Who was it again?

We had alot of doubters around this place- especially in 2010 and early in 2011. They just couldn't come to grips with how bad Polk had left the program

One day before NCAA BB Selection Sunday: "My source tells me we are IN the tourney"
One week before Rick Ray is hired: "The next coach will be from this ******** list from my source" (list doesn't include Rick Ray)
During baseball season: Argues with mythical strawman that Cohen shouldn't be fired
Present day: "I'm right aGAIN!!!!!!"

free anonymous sports message board is at the least ironic and at the most creepy. Nobody to praise you except..... you. I would brag about you at work tomorrow but all my acquaintances would think its a little weird.

Peaches is what happens when someone gets older and wraps up their self worth in a message board and how they want to be perceived by anonymous strangers on a message board.

my source did a terrible job in March- I freely admit it. With sources, I'm relying on someone else to be correct and know what the hell they are talking about. When we are talking ball- dissecting games and strategy, I'm pretty damn good.

My source missing this past March doesnt change the other 100 times I've been right about Crooms, Stansbury, Polk, Cohen, Gary Ervin, Tyler Russell, Deville Smith, Kodi Augustus, Jamont Gordon, the Spread offense, we wont miss Dixon, and on and on and on

I mean with all of the stupid **** going on with him and the basketball team, how could Cohen and the team possibly focus? That would mean Coach is even more right!

So Coach,
I've been in complete agreement with you about Cohen. I actually made several 100 dollar bets with Ole Miss fans at the beginning of last year stating that Cohen would win a national championship at State. It's been nice seeing your post on Cohen throughout the years defending him with all the ignorant ******** that goes on on this board.
However, when you blame your "source" for you being completely wrong about Stansbury and Mississippi State basketball is a 17ing joke. You didn't have a "source" when you were constantly trying to tell this board that we could do a lot better than Stans. That we would have a lot of coaches interested in our job. That we should expect a sweet 16 because we have been there twice in our entire basketball history. Over the next 5-10 years, we are all going to watch how incredibly wrong you were about Stans and hopefully you will realize that Stans is probably going to be the best coach in Mississippi State basketball history. You were wrong about our basketball program and you are the only one on this board that can't see it.

" You didn't have a "source" when you were constantly trying to tell this board that we could do a lot better than Stans."

Our players that Stansbury left us couldnt even get thru a 40 minute conditioning session with Coach Ray. So, it hasnt taken long to find out we upgraded to a coach that is more demanding than Stansbury.

"That we would have a lot of coaches interested in our job."

The lack of discipline, drug problems, and reputation that your man Stansbury had alot to do with the lack of interest.

"That we should expect a sweet 16 because we have been there twice in our entire basketball history."

there are teams that make the Sweet 16 every year that have never been before. Hell, they even make Elite 8's and Final Fours too. Thats just a weak, ******** line of thinking

" Over the next 5-10 years, we are all going to watch how incredibly wrong you were about Stans and hopefully you will realize that Stans is probably going to be the best coach in Mississippi State basketball history."

Stansbury did some good things- but the success in his tenure was basically 2002-2005. His 1st 3 seasons were nothing to write home about, and he had 1 team in the last 7 that was NCAA Tourney-worthy. Kudos for him winning the SEC Tourney in 2009, but the SEC was pathetic that season and we did what 13 seed's normally do- got blown out in our 1st game.
If you dont think we will be able to make 2 NCAA's in the next 7 seasons like Stansbury did in his last 7- then I feel sad for you

" You were wrong about our basketball program and you are the only one on this board that can't see it."

What was I wrong about? The lack of discipline? The lack of accountability? The lack of a normal S&C program?

Look, you love Stansbury and that's fine. But I was on target about our basketball program- and the fact is it was even worse than I thought it was- because we couldnt get an experienced coach to take the damn thing. You make no sense- you try to act like we have some outstanding program with Stansbury heading it up- but then tell me I'm wrong because nobody would take it.

Much like Cohen taking over for Polk- people are going to be pleasantly surprised at what Rick Ray can do at State. And like Cohen, the first two years will be a little rocky- but he will get Stansbury's mess cleaned up. And when he does, make sure you give him his due

and you could be wrong. But you won't eve acknowledge that you could be wrong. And if it turns out you are wrong, you will simply make excuses about how the program was worse than anyone could have predicted, etc, etc.

Much like Cohen taking over for Polk- people are going to be pleasantly surprised at what Ricky Ray can do at State.
I hope you are right. But you might not be. In fact, it might be more like Crxxm talking over for Sherrill. So far, we have seen nothing to make us feel good. The only people that feel good about the hire at this point, are those that hated Stansbury more than they like MSU.
