But does anyone else feel better about NOT getting Petersen after TCU beat them last night? And, how bad does it suck to be an Auburn fan knowing that Patterson could have and should have been your coach?!

managed the clock poorly at the end of the game. They left way to much time on the clock by snapping the ball with time on the play clock. Also allowed Boise to save a time out. I thought it was almost Croomesque the way he ran the last series.

No. I don't think you can really base the merits of a coach on a single game. He almost beat a team that's in a better conference than his team, and his team was outgunned. Despite that, his team had a chance to win. And I thought they were until the pick at the end.
