with one of the long time scouts for the Dallas Cowboys. Dude was hired by Tom Landry and Tex Schram. We talked a little about college football and some of the prospects he has been watching. Somehow the subject changed to golf and he mentioned that playing golf with Jackie Sherrill was one of his favorite things to do on trips through the south. It was at this point I let him know I was a MSU alumni. After a long debate over Little Dooey's and Dreamland the subject turned to Mullen's potential and Anthony Dixon and Cristian Ducre. His opinion was similar to what we have heard from our former coaching staff.... given the right work ethic and attitude when the ball is in their hands should be on of the best duo's around. He was in attendance for the spring scrimmage and a couple of other practices. Impressed with Mullen and his coaching staff was an understatement.

Dinner tomorrow is with Art Blank and his wife. Hopefully I can stay away from any Vick comments. So far I made it through 36 holes of golf with the guy and coast is clear, but who knows what I will say after my second glass of wine.

I know, used to drink half a liter or more of Wild Turkey in one sitting but cannot buy Wild Turkey in Costa Rica so I just gave up drinking all together.

Ha, I got a chuckle out of that!

A six pack used to be a warm-up on a Friday night. Now it's my limit.
