what happened on the MTSU TD? From the other end of the field, it looked like our DB pushed him. Did the WR push first? Just curious as all the MTSU guys were bitching about it. Anybody got a video clip of that play?

I would be pissed if it was called on a State receiver but it was a push off.

More like a hand check at the same time the DB was trying to turn around made it look a lot worse than it really was. We caught a break there.

but whether it was forceful enough to warrant a flag might be a debate. Seems like I've seen a lot of receivers push DBs off this year with no calls. However, not sure why you woluld have thought our DB pushed the receiver because our defender didn't even come close to doing that.
