Just back from the game............

I haven't read anything here yet so this is my uninfluenced BS. Over all probably the best we have played this year. Defensively I know we gave up that last drive but we played well enough against a pretty good team to win the game. The defense is getting better every week. Time to lay off Wilson guys, he is doing pretty good job. Offensively the same old problems are there, just not quite as bad. Carmon at LT makes the line better, that's not to say they are anywhere close to average. They just aren't totally awful. Russell was so so throwing the ball. Some of it isn't his fault (see the comments on the line, and the ones on the receivers to come), some of it is. He was overthrowing just a tad today when he DID get a guy open. He ran the ball better than I thought he could but he ain't a runner. The receivers made some REALLY good catches, which they had too because they can't get open much at all. THAT is a huge problem. That, along with the line is the reason we can't consistantly move the ball. Again better,but we are still 6-6 at BEST.

The student section looked pathetic all game. 1/4 of the east upper deck never had anybody in it. For all the preseason bitching about camping out for tix, that was a piss poor effort by the students. Fail State students.

that was. If it had been a blow out I could understand it. But it we were even witha highly ranked team at the half and they left. It wasn't just a few either. </p>

this is my first year to not attend every game. most students that go to the games don't know anything about football nor could give a **** about it. it's a social gathering for them. everyone is more concerned about getting back to their tent to booz it up and try to find a drunk chick to bang it out with.

they are out in the open with nothing for the sound to bounce off of. It's the visiting band you hear more of on television, too.
