I'm cheap, but booked a Super 8 in Council Bluffs (across the river) for around $65/night.

Leave San Antonio at about 6am Tuesday, land in Omaha about 10:30...meeting bunch of guys from Jackson there. They already have the rooms booked for the entire Series. I can only stay for game 2 and then leave Wednesday morning. Hopefully, Game 2 will be the one to be at! No ticket yet...I also need just one ticket

Stayed at that Super 8 in '07 - right by Harrah's too. I just booked Econo Lodge- the last thing you will remember (for better or worse) is your hotel. Go Dawgs!!!!

Downtown, hotels ranged from $229 for Homewood Suites to $369 for the Doubletree (team hotel). There were rooms available at almost all of them.
If you can swing it, I suggest the Homewood Suites- breakfast, dinner, beer, and wine are included. And i'm not talking make-your-own-waffles; they serve like breakfast casserole and stuff.
