I was cleaning out mystorage room earlier (due to excessive bitching from the wife)and came across some boxes from college... I was pissedso Ijust started throwing all the stuff in the garbage, and a jump drive happend to fall out of one of the boxes. I was curiousto see what was on it and came across the first presentation for "The Junction".It was presented toDr. Lee,the Executive Committee, the Athletic Department, the Alumni Association, Campus Landscape, and FacilitiesManagement on March 7, 2005.

I heard he wanted the Templeton Complex built there so his name would have more views.
I wonder if LT still thinks the Junction was a bad idea.

Was that he was against it because he wanted all of the money from the Junction to go to the athletic dept., which certainly could have been his cover for his real intentions of wanting a building with his name there.

Then again, LT wanted to do away with the LFL as well. Said it was a "safety hazard"- the only thing that has ever fallen down out there that I am aware of is the cheap *** deck that he built. And I guess luxury boxes that flood are totally safe as well. That would be ironic- nothing ever happens in the LFL as far as an injury on cars built out of wood, but someone drowns in their skybox.

What it comes down to is he was incredibly lazy and didn't want to have to manage things like the Junction and the LFL.

How exciting were those during class registration?
...and you waited in line to get a punch card for each class. <div>
</div><div>Class enrollment was first come first serve, but they let the seniors go in the Hump first, then the juniors, etc. Either way, I was usually able to get into a class by getting some waiver punch card that let me in past the max enrollment. If I didn't get into a class during registration, then I would visit the professor and ask to be let in his class. As far as I remember, I was never denied.</div>

That was even before MSU had an IBM System 360.
And registration was in the Animal Husbandry Building, now known as the Volleyball arena.

And yes, it was a charley foxtrot.

Osama Bin Laden. What an absolute asinine thing to have done. And, yes, I know that L Seal supposedly had that requirement attached to the $$$.

I have always thought the building beyond the left center field wall should be named for LT.
"The Larry Templeton Urinal" has an excellent ring to it. We could put LT's face in the urinals and crappers. Dang, we could make a pay toilet out of it and turn a profit. That would really be a fine tribute to LT.
