“Dan Mullen's UNLV contract is a five-year, $17.5 million deal, paying him $3.5 million per season. The contract includes various performance-based bonuses, such as $25,000 for reaching the Mountain West championship game and $100,000 for making the College Football Playoff. A significant detail is that the university has acknowledged it can only fund the first two years of the contract, relying on donations for the remainder.”

Just something to chew on in the off-season while we are getting our next load of Div 1-AA transfers.

If we had the balls to fire Lebby and hire Mullen I'd make a BC donation today.

I’d buy season tickets again if we hired Mullen. I didn’t renew them when I moved away.

I’d be willing to make the financial and time investment if we re-hired Mullen.

As it stands, it’s hard to give more than what I am with the direction of our program currently.

I would give it serious consideration.

Triple Mullen's current salary.

I was gone during the game and just finished watching my recording. I don't recall Lebby making any boneheaded decisions today. Did I miss anything? The players played hard and looked good for the most part.

Mullen hated fighting the blue bloods for good recruits.

In the NIL era, we can buy him some better groceries to cook with.

We would win some SEC games....finally

Exhibit A - First & 10 at the Ole Miss 22 with 2:25 left in the half after the long Fluff run & MSU getting the ball to start the 2nd half. Ole Miss leads 14-10. We are in FG goal range. We run a play (Fluff for no gain) before the 2 minute warning and then throw 2 incomplete passes. We kick the FG with 1:45 left, so Ole Miss gets the ball back with plenty of time left and still has 3 time-outs.
We should not have run a play until after the 2 minute warning and should have at least made Ole Miss burn 1-2 time-outs. We should have been down 14-13 getting the ball to start the 2nd half instead of 21-13.
Lebby lost any remaining credibility with me during this series because he was just playing a damned video game and going fast.

This. This is why Lebby can’t or won’t win with the chips stacked against him. He coaches like he’s directing the Rams greatest show on turf…in reality, he’s coaching a very good UAB roster.

It’s the little things, all year long. Absolutely no clue how to manage a game. It’s like he’s playing PlayStation 5 , 5 minute clocks.

Mullen 2.0 would have Kamario Taylor in the Heisman discussion and a high draft pick. But not even Mullen can overcome the terrible defense we have today.

He’d have good enough sense to hire someone to do it for him. He was way better when he finally stopped meddling with the defense. He had to learn it from experience like everyone else. That’s Something Lebby appears to be lagging in.

OK, yep, that counts as boneheaded.
