Watching the implosion happen, it was obvious he had lost the fire that had made us so successful. He stubbornly made things worse and worse by making bad coaching hire and bad recruiting decision, one after the other. Had he resigned in 2001 or even 2002, we might've been in a better position to hire someone that, well, wasn't Croom. Why is this so hard for you people to understand?
