...that said "Jackie just ripped us a new one on AM radio. Described MSU as a "trainwreck" and they have to bottom out before anything good happens and they are close to."

Well no ****, *******, you should know.

Our football program is a train wreck, but no worse than the train wreck he left us with. And if he hadn't left us with that one, we wouldn't be dealing with this one now.

I have to disagree, we could have had a great team and Crooms would make it into a trainwreck...
He turns everything into ****... Kind of like the King **** Midas...
He has not made anything better at MSU...

Go to hell, Jackass Sherrill. The arrogance of that piece of excrement is mind-boggling. If not for you causing the initial train-wreck by staying 2 years too long, we wouldn't be where we are today. 17ing douchenozzle.

is he on the radio in the first place. for that matter, i am sick and tired of dumb *** reporters getting his two cents after nearly every game. i was glad to see him leave and would rather he stay away and if he isn't going to stay away then keep his mouth shut because we have earned his damn silence.

we never would have hired Crxxm in the first place. We were nudged into hiring an AA coach to keep NCAA sanctions light. If Jackie hadn't done things like put Tommy Kelly and Demetric Wright up in the Ramada Inn for 3 months, we'd probably have somebody like Jimbo Fisher coaching us now.

who say, "hey, i've run this team into the ground, and the next two years are gonna suck. i certainly don't need the money, so i tender my resignation." you're so smart costanza. we're going to have a lot of fun with you.

Watching the implosion happen, it was obvious he had lost the fire that had made us so successful. He stubbornly made things worse and worse by making bad coaching hire and bad recruiting decision, one after the other. Had he resigned in 2001 or even 2002, we might've been in a better position to hire someone that, well, wasn't Croom. Why is this so hard for you people to understand? The Jackie worship boggles the mind.

for the same reason Croom won't resign his position or any one of us would resign our positions. As long as someone is willing to continue to give you money, you're gonna continue to take it.

no coach is going to resign because he thinks he's doing such a ****** job that, two years down the line, things will be awful.

which you cherry-picked from, was that Jackie's tenure was two years too long. And it was the responsibility of someone to end it. My point would be he deserved a chance to turn it around in 2002 but I would have cut ties after that season.

on the air. He was part of the in-studio crew for the regional Fox Sports Big 12 coverage a few years ago, and after they showed a few "highlights" of a State game during the halftime show, he talked about what a tough place it was to win, and what a difficult situation Croom was in. I'm not sure what else he said, as my mind began to shut down from sheer inability to process what I'd just heard.
