one word.. Awesome.
My in-laws paid for the whole family (12 family members) to go to the Disney World portion and each family paid their own way for the cruise portion. We got a little rain at DW but I have never been to DW when it hasn't rained atleast 50% of the time, so that was no big deal. The cruise was awesome. Beautiful weather, great food, and the Disney island Castaway Cay was unbelievable. As a person who has only ever swam in the gulf (Orange Beach in particular), I fell in love with the crystal blue water of the Bahamas.

Anyway... Whats been going on over the course of the last week? I bought the 250mins of WiFi on the ship to follow the Bama/OM game as my father in-law is a huge OM fan. I quit following the game at halftime, but I noticed he started drinking heavily as the night went on. I figured OM was losing. I saw the score Sunday. The only thing he would talk about Sunday was Scooba's 90-7 route of someone.

Those Disney cruises are bad ***.

I used to live outside of Orlando and I would take the cruise over the park any day. If you go on one and don't take the kids to one of the shows you have missed out.

I've heard the same thing from other people. Will have to put this on the list of things to do.
Taking the family to DW this thanksgiving. This will be our fifth trip. Treating this as the last hurrah. Because my oldest is a junior. Bottom line is nobody does it like Disney.

Maybe we'll see you there. Doing the same thing with my clan before the oldest (a HS senior) heads to college.

I wonder if we could fire the Federal Gov't and turn the USA over to Disney?

Which Disney cruise did you go on?

Thinking about doing a Disney cruise with a 4 year old. We've already done Disney World. Is there a lot to do for a child that age?

We were on the Disney Dream. Our little girl turned 4 Sunday (fly home day). Almost everything on the ship is kid friendly. We dropped her off on the Kid Quest thing after we reboarded from Nassau. She loved it. She stayed there for about 4 1/2 hours before getting a text on our wave phone (your only form of communication on the ship) saying "Zoey would like to be picked up from Kid Quest (or whatever its called)". We went to pick her up, and she told her momma she wasnt quite done yet and wanted to stay another hour or so. The Disney shows on the ship are second to none, and they have a very kid friendly menu for them to eat off of.

I would also suggest Royal Caribbean's Allure of the Seas OR Oasis of the Seas..

These are the two largest cruise ships in the world. Both are 4
.5 football fields long and 21 stories tall. They both go out of Fort Lauderdale.

RC is a great cruise line. Took grandeur of seas out of NO 10 years ago. Cruised with carnival two years ago. Carnival is really bad if you have any other cruises to compare them too.
What made it worse is we were on that crappy boat that broke down at sea. Thankfully it was about three weeks after our cruise .

It looks like my 4 year old won't need a passport. Is that right?
