Pat Patterson is a beast. He made some really impressive catches even though they lost. I'd love to see him playing for us. He wouldn't have dropped those passes against Auburn. He got three personal fouls for roughing the kicker cause he was trying to block field goals, but other than that I didn't see any kinda trouble out of him like I expected to see. I hope we are recruiting him because he would be an excellent target for Russell next year.

Funny--I would like to have seen that. The kicker is probably wondering WHAT THE HELL?

we needed Patterson Thursday night as big target across the middle for maintaining drives. I say take him if we can get him in December (which shouldn't be an issue since he was a full qualifier out of high school).

Did EMCC win? I grew up near there.

Not sure how he hits the kicker three times. If you are good at blocking kicks, you aim for a point 2-3 feet from the kicker's foot to "intercept" the ball in the air. It's an easier spot to get to and less likely to hit the kicker if you miss the ball.

he was blocked directly into the kicker. When that happened I questioned whether it was a proper call since he was blocked into the kicker. No one around me really knew that answer to that.

Patterson is the real deal - he is big (has huge hands that just suck the ball out of the air), physical and deceptively faster than people realize.

Edited to add: Scooba got beat 25-19.

This is what happens when you get a big time football player under the influence of outside factors, and he doesn't listen to himself about what he wants to do with a big decision.

He instead, listened to his parents, who were listening to a dumbshit manager 'bagman', and got bought to Ole Miss. It just so happened the highest bidder was a team he didn't really want to sign with in the first place but got caught up in the situation.

You get a kid with all the potential in the world, but with an attitude, complacency, and a cocky disposition.

I know, I know, I'm a sheep, blah blah. But it's just the truth.

He really, REALLY wants to be a potter.

We don't want him to just play football. The rule is the rule.

We like to help people. It is our business to help people, and we think Patterson needs some guidance so we want to help him.

I know we all keep saying he's big, but he was around 240 lbs at OM. Thats too heavy to play WR in the SEC. If he wants to play at MSU he needs to get (and stay) around 220. I think that'll be a big factor in rather or not he gets an offer from MSU.

He'd make a bad *** TE though, if he's still up around that weight.

to a) get to MSU and b) be able to play at MSU.

So, nobody can answer the questions about whether he will be able to do opposite of how he did at Ole Miss, the things that got him kicked off of the team.

because you have the very same situation starting for you at qb right now. Can you answer whether Masoli will be able to do the opposite of how he did at Oregon, the things that got him kicked off? Also why do you even still care about Patterson? If he's such a waste and cancer you should be hoping we do get him.
