Definitely glad I went. Drove over this AM. We're probably the only school in the SEC that does a Dog Walk for their baseball team at any point in the year.

I thought Woodruff had some nerves early, but the double play calmed him down- that was huge. Ross Mitchell had the game of his life so far. I was scared when Reed came in, but he got the double play, and Stratton vs. one hitter only is unfair to the hitter.

The pitcher that Vandy started was a first round pick last year. We did what we always do- manufacture runs. We are taking more quality at bats and we are making more solid contact than we were early in the year. We made some nice plays on defense- Norris getting the bunt for the first out of the game, Deamrcus with his diving catch, and Frost made a really nice stop late in the game.

We had a couple of base running mistakes. Lane should not have sent Demarcus on Slauter's double. Norris didn't read a ball right and should have gone to third and got Frazier hung out to dry. And Frazier should have made sure that Norris was going before he took off.

Urban myth- I only saw a few LSU fans. I'm sure the announcer talked about how many were there and how great their fans are. Eh- not really.

Great showing by OUR fans.

Luis Pollorena let me touch the SEC Tournament trophy at the end of the game. That was awesome.
