Booked at the Best Western (not exactly up to par with the Marriott Fairfield, but they're full and require 2 night minimum this year; and someone posted that the Hampton Inn in Starkville was $350/night with a 2 night minimum).<div>
</div><div>All rates were just over $100, except one ... the South Alabama game is $84 for some reason. These are AAA rates.</div><div>
</div><div>I see no reason to pay the rates Starkville hotels are asking, and even what the Marriott in Columbus is asking this year ... I'm not buying the place ... just want to stay there one night.</div>

Ask for a room in the newer back building, but don't take the suite back there (it has the same AC unit the regular rooms do and you'll wind up sleeping in an 80 degree bed).
