Without reading the article, my guess is that he was there when the Baylor player was murdered? I can't remember the details but wasn't he murdered by a teammate?

... coincidence? Obviously he murdered the player, then steered Roberts to State in exchange for the future AD position at his alma mater.

No one steered Roberts to State. It was blind luck. I read it here on the sixpack. It must be gospel.

I spent 13 seconds trying to divine a good Stricklin/Ninja one liner based on the Baylor situation. Didn't come up with anything near as spot on as yours.

You forgot the part where he scrambled Colston's brain. That was the tricky part. Hell, anyone can shoot a guy, it takes some real hoodoo to make a guy hallucinate for four months while you cover your **** and then confess to a murder.

So, after theAD meetings, don't be surprised when Boone flips out for a couple of months and then confesses that Bobbie Massey was paid.

You left out the part about how Stans was the mastermind behind the plot and got Bailey Howell to promise that he'd secure the AD job for his son-in-law in exchange for the murder and steering Lawrence Roberts to MSU.
