Is being considered for Gameday next week. Most delusional fan base ever. "It's between Us and Notre Dame is the word."

Because Rick Stansbury used to live in Mississippi and has poisoned the Bears by association.

No, the guy is being serious, heard on head to head back in July that gameday was considering that game...I do agree about the fanbase tho.

Well, you gotta admit, they pulled away from Central Arkansas near the end of the third quarter. It's gonna be a big year.

Don't forget to credit their athletic defense

If Gameday chooses Ole Miss, in their current situation, as the first Mississippi school to host Gameday, then I will loose all respect for Gameday. The reason for this is that Gameday brings with it a national game and game day recruiting advantage that schools should have to earn to receive. IMO, it would be wrong to give in to Ole Miss just because the Gameday crew wants to go to the grove. That being said, if we win Saturday, and Tennessee continues to play at or near the level they did last week, then I would love to see Gameday in Starkville for the Tennessee game.

Ole Miss simply hasn't earned Gameday, and I believe Gameday should be something that a school has the earn. It would be along the same line of charity or a "Get out of Jail Free"Card if Gameday choose Ole Miss next weekend.

I watched the replay with Central Arkansas and basically Wallace appears

to be a pretty good QB to me. Two big questions, he made up about 80% of their offense and was
involved in almost every play. That can't continue or he is going to be really banged up once the
competition stiffens. The other observation is the black bear defense appears to be pretty weak and
could get shelled badly against a potent offense.

I had one tell me Bo Wallace was better than Tyler Russell...

and that they had 5-6 wins in them this year....

Crazy what one good half in two years can do for them.

I was thinking about this possibility earlier in the week

That being said, if we win Saturday, and Tennessee continues to play at or near the level they did last week, then I would love to see Gameday in Starkville for the Tennessee game.

But Texas v OU as well as Notre Dame v Stanford may be tough for ESPN to pass up.

Sometimes in sports, you have to put on your objective hat. And if you ever decide to do that, you will see that that's not too far-fetched. We don't know yet. But it's not insane. I love Tyler. He has all the tools to be a good pocket passing quarterback, but he hasn't proven to be a gamer yet. I think he will, but he hasn't yet.

Looking at this objectively, Iwould say Tyler is better...why? Look i'm gonna be honest here last year about this same time I thought that Dak would take this job & run w/ it going into this season. But then a crazy thing happened I went to the SC game last year and saw the beating Tyler took in that game & still made throws & plays dispite getting crushed! I thought (when we were "recruiting" Wallace) Bo was a good passer, but never really was under pressure or got hit alot. Alot of his stats came from fantastic play calling, elite WRs and good protection. Ole miss gave up 11 TFLs against C.Ark due to bad blocking and sometimes Bo ran for his life in that game. So right now, give me TR because I know he can make throws Vs SEC defenses. I have yet to see Bo do this while taking a beating. Because rest assured he will take a beating this year w/ that OL.

Just for fun let's compare each QB's debut...

Tyler Russell* c/att yds avg td int
13/16 256 16.0 4 0
Lil Bo Peep c/att yds avg td int
20/24 264 11.0 2 1

*no previous college experience at any level

It's not even close...
