just had an LSU person message me "sorry for taking your QB"...?

I'd guess that he/she/shim is talking aboutLSU's commitment from Rivers. My guess is so, because we "had a good shot" at getting his commitment.

I had really hoped they weren't going to offer him. He fits perfectly into our system and seemed generally excited about coming to State. I hope he says thanks but no thanks.

Robbie, dont hold me to this. I am just relaying what I read on Tiger droppings. It is also saying thatthey are recruiting another QB from Miami as well.

It says with the loss of Zach Lee that LSU will sign 2 QBs in this class.

I really doubt that Dak sticks with us if LSU gives him a signable offer.

I thought us getting Dak kind of eliminated getting Rivers. Does this open things back up for Rivers? I would still rather have Dak for our offense. I wonder if God hates us if he is telling all our QB commits to go to LSU.

kid Oliver. He makes more sense than a kid from NWLA(not an LSU stronghold) that left LSU camps twice without an offer.

Name a top notch high school QB who has signed there and done great things. They are playing with scraps, because Les is LESS when it comes to developing QB's. Why do they all want to leave or bust? Ellis Yeaux will always get big time players because of tradition, but until they get a coach with an IQ above 65, they will never play to their full God given potential. I just don't understand why these HS players don't see this. Or does the $$$$ get in the way of reality? Ellis Yeaux will win 7 games this year and their recruiting class will jump ship faster than the Titanic that was in Oxford this past year.

He has a much better chance to make it to the next level with us and the staff we have. The proof will be with Relf's development from last year to his this year. Mullen will turn heads with his QB development this year. That in itself will have blue-chip QBs knocking on our door.

But not for a qb position, but that may change now. The chris garret story should help us there.
In his interview on bulldog blitz, Mullen told him to be 100% and not to visit any other schools if he was going to commit now. I know that doesn't mean any thing in the long run but he did know what Mullen expected when he committed
