Yea, if only USM could match that great success MSU has experienced this year in baseball. All USM can do is hope and pray that they can match that juggernaut team in Strarkville. MSU has the only fan base that thinks they are winners when they actually still suck. I love it.studentdawg87 said:No one cares how you rank nationally in attendance. USM counts paid attendance. And it's obvious that their tickets are buy one, get 34 free. Each of their fans bought one season ticket, hence the attendance numbers.

Its too bad that we don't have a bigger baseball seating area or i think our numbers would be higher. Its also too bad that visiting conference teams don't travel more. You get to enjoy that luxury. You will notice however we have better attendance that quite a few sec schools. You have a great following and a nice baseball stadium but don't act like we only have 20 people come to our baseball games. Don't flatter yourself either to think that we only filled up our stadium when you came to town either.

Your fans are a joke. Please explain and fill us with your infinite wisdom as to why this is fact.
Regardless of State's recent troubles, you're still the red-headed stepchild of this state. Yeah? Why is that?
This will only get worse with Corky hanging it up and State rebuilding their program. Pure Conjecture. The Atlanta regional MVP by the way was a USM Freshman. We have many like him ready to play next year. Maybe that will make you feel better though about your team staying home this season.
The USM grads I work with wouldn't even know you played a baseball game last night if it weren't above the fold on the front page of the sports section. How would you know? Did you ask them? I am sure i could find many MSU grads that don't follow MSU athletics either, even if your statement were true so that's not much to go on.
And, that list has to be paid attendance because there is no way in hell you averaged more than 3,000 a game in actual attendance. How would you know? did you go to every home game?
All that aside, congrats to Corky's fat *** for getting to the Supers in his final season, seriously. - Thank you for your kindness and granting all of us here with your infinite wisdom and knowledge of USM Athletics and your hateful, almost envious sounding rhetoric. Maybe you and polk ought to hang out and talk about the good old days. Sounds like you two might get along just fine.

If the attendance number is that important to you then congrats, if that makes you feel better about staying home. Again, doesn't look like that attendance number helped you out any this season.Big D said:
Not only are you number three in the state in baseball attendance you are number three in all sports in attendance.
