1) Our Defense is getting better. Much better. My only complaint was why in the hell did we have Broomfield on the Cock's biggest receiver when he scored, I did not like that. I also think our defense got mushy on that touchdown drive. Otherwise, I think they played very well.

2) Our Offense is still pathetic. Our O-line is a little better...but not much. Our receivers need to learn how to catch the 17ing ball. Russell had some sure fire passes and our receivers looked like they were swatting at bees. I feel sorry for Ballard. He is drowning because of the up in the middle ******** and no line to block

3) Why in the hell did we kick a 50 yard field goal into the wind knowing DePasquale (sp)could not kick it?

4) Why in the hell did we run a trick play when we had good momentum and were moving the ball just fine on that drive?

5) When in the hell did Mullen get so damn conservative with the playcalling? I am reminded of the Croom years

6) I hate Spurrier, still.

7) The 17ing cups smelled like **** today.

1) agree - That had to be one of the dumbest defensive coaching calls I have seen. I mean I don't know if it would have made a difference because Jeffrey is Jeffrey and great at what he does, but you have got to have your best man on him, or at the very least the tallest. Our coaches talk about creating mismatches with the tight end on offense and that is exactly what they did to us, and that is not even bringing up the fact that Banks is a much better cover guy. Broomfield is 5-10 and about 180 soaking wet up against the man that is Alshon Jeffrey at 6-4 240ish.

2) agree

3) I have no idea what Mullen was thinking there. I do seem to remember DePasquale hitting one about 54 yards or so in the first spring game of Mullen's career to win the game so maybe he had that on his mind. The sad thing is if DePasquale had hit that ball the way he was supposed to it would have gone in with ease. He hit it like he does every kick, very high to not get blocked. On long kicks you are supposed to kick it in a more line drive trajectory at the expense of it being easier to block. He had plenty of boot behind it, just the wrong trajectory. I understand not wanting to punt there because the last punt didn't pin them deep and that irked him, but you have to go for it instead of kick a very low percentage field goal. I would wager the percentage of making 4th and 3 (i think) would be higher than making that field goal.

4) Stupid play call, even worse play be lil Favre. He doesn't need to worry so much about getting a chance, he should work on what to do once he is given it.

5) Any game where the opponent is ranked, the offense plays not to lose bad (with the exception of Arkansas last year). I seriously think they wanted to go into the locker room with the score 7-0 at that point after the shanked punt. We had all the momentum because we had scored somewhat recently and they gave us a gift. You have to go for the throat sometimes but instead we made it easy for them and then couldn't even pin them deep with the punt.

6) Spurrier is one of those people that you either like or hate his guts.

7) That sucks.
