Why was there one in the first place? Can someone smarter than me explain. Was the president of Raycom from Newfoundland? Did the 3 Daves have to beat the other broadcasters to the Cracker Barrel? I never understood the mid hour kickoff.
Because it's exactly 3 hours before the Big CBS SEC Must See Game of the Week. That way the Raycom/JP game can overlap so you miss the 1st qt of the CBS Game watching KY or Vandy on Raycom.
