for any rebel fans here. Is there any talk of postponing or changing the game time for the wake game saturday as it appears Hanna will be blowing through North Carolina saturday?

which is odd, but they are 3 hours from the coast, and have never really had much trouble from hurricanes that far inland. He also said some models even have it turning north and bypassing NC completely. We'll see.

From the looks of thing, the storm isn't going to be that strong, and the center of the storm won't hit Winston-Salem. My guess is we're going to see rain on Saturday and winds in the 20-30 mph range. It will be ugly weather, but it won't be anything that hasn't been played in before.

Also, with the storm stalling for a while in the Bahamas, it doesn't look like it'll interfere at all with our travel plans. Travel issues are the only thing that I think would potentially have an effect on the game.

From everything people are saying, it sounds like we shouldn't have any issues playing Saturday.

Wake runs won't be too affected by rain either. In the end, I think they are just a better team than us by a good bit.

that I like the Wild Rebel/Hog/Cat whatever the hell it is. It's so simple it's stupid and it works. Heaven forbid you turn your fastest players loose and let them make plays.

I figured it would work rain sleet snow or shine.

As OP4 mentioned, Wake is in the western part of North Carolina and not near the coast at all. Also, it's on what would be the weaker western side of the storm. They may get a lot of rain, but nothing to postpone a football game over.
