I like that move because, so far (even though he's only pitched two games) he has been probably the best starting pitcher and will give us the best chance to win the first two. If we can pull out the one tonight, we will have a excellent chance of perhaps going 3-1 on the weekend.

Routt has shown the ability to get deeper into games, thus preserving the bullpen another game. The best part about about the win last night was Whitney getting into the 7th, IMO.

If Bowen would pitch within himself, and stop trying to strike everyone out, he would be our best.

Her has to realize that six pitch inning is just as good or better than striking out three guys on 15 pitches.
