I think we should pay Wilson. He deserves it plus it would nicely
transition if Hud was hired. If we don't keep Wilson, that would be our
6th DC in as many years. Plus, Wilson is an in for so many big time recruits.

2007 - Johnson
2008 - Harbison
2009 - Torbush
2010 - Diaz
2011 - Wilson

5 new DC's - possibly 6 in as many years. Amazing our D has been 1/2 way respectable except in 2009.

..."If we don't get Wilson", do you mean if we don't KEEP him? Are you talking about if Mullens were to leave, paying Wilson enough to make sure he stays with us?

But if all things remain constant, I agree that Wilson should get more compensation for his services. He did a great job this year.

recruiting. Basically every one of our top targets/commits are close to Wilson.

wondering if it's hurt the preparation of our players. Especially at LB. We've also had 5 LB coaches in 5 years (along with 5 different DCs). You would think 2 years with the same coach & schemewould help those guys be more comfortable / confident, or at least start the season a little less rusty.
