If he commits, we will all be excited. If he doesn't, we will all convince ourself of why we didn't need him and why we will be better. So regardless of what happens - in 2010 - MSU football will be better.

With that being said, Cam - you better not be dicking with us.

but we could be great with him...

I'm not doing the rollercoaster everybody else is...He is going to say all kinds of **** this weekend just like he did at OU...he wants to get his carrot wet...I dont blame him...

No need to worry about it until the 22nd

Grown men are hanging onto every bit of info we get on Newton, going into giddy mode when the news is good and into meltdown mode when the news is bad. I want to land him, and I do keep up with things, but my holiday is not going to be made or ruined by Cam Newton.

...If he signs, fine. Everybody gets to grow wool, howl about recruiting rankings & look forward to spring training.

If he doesn't sign, we have avoided somebody who is so egotistical & anti-team, he is already sending out the word he will not tolerate QB platooning. Then toss in the intrusive dad who doubles as his son's sports agent.

So whether he signs with State or not, something is to be gained.

We'll be much improved at QB either way, but he could be the difference between 7-5 and 9-3. Either way, I like our team next year and for the future.
