coaches and new systems to deal with next year. Vandy, well I still believe we can handle them at home. MSU loses Dackich and a lot of other starters. We should handle OOC with exception of the dirty birds (I have to hope we can beat them because of the rivalry, again, just sayin ). Sooooo! Maybe, just maybe 7 or 8 wins are not out of reach if we make the right moves in off season and show a little improvement on O-line and Barker has more time to get it together. Just (hoping) and sayin!

we will be exactly where we are this year, 5-7 maybe a chance for a bowl going into the last game again.

Vandy brings back essentially their entire two-deep. If the Schumur kid develops, they're a dark horse team in the East.

Vandy couldn't score against a shadow this year and beat us. This past year was our only chance to ever go 9-3....everyone will be better....new coaches are coming but these schools already had more talent than UK.

Please don't get your hopes up and get let down and blame Stoops after we only win 4 or 5 games if that.

You are most likely right. I do think for some odd reason we beat Miss St and South Car at home.

Lol beaten South Carolina 2 years in a row, and suddenly you think it's impossible that we beat them again or something, or that it's even a stretch of the imagination? Have you seen their new HC?

Reality is, he could potentially be right. The Vanderbilt defense is legit, and you seen what a legit defense did for Florida, even with a completely lackluster offense. Bringing back that many players and retaining your OC, you're bound to make offensive progress, especially with the help that Vandy's offense gets from its defense.

Some of you sound ridiculous. If you all think Kentucky will regress to 4 wins, or plateau at 5 wins forever, I mean, be my guest, but in year 4, it's a bit safer to bet on 6 wins.

We struggled to compete with EKU and ULL. Our offense dropped from 63rd to 95th in scoring and we collapsed against teams with similar or worse talent the second half of games. I don't see any place for optimism if the same coaches stay in place.

You are right, Stoops and Jones are the elder statesmen in the SEC east. Its hard to believe that no coach in the division has been at their school longer than 4 years, counting the 16 season. I can't speak for the Missouri fans, don't know much about their new coach. USC is split on Muschamp, some are excited, some are not. At UGA at least 99% of the fans are elated with Smart. Many, including me, wanted to keep Pruitt as DC but looks like he is gone, very good coach and elite recruiter. Looks like our new DC is coming from the present staff, and looks like we are keeping 1 offensive coach, the RB coach. But sometimes the truth hurts, we have been a soft team, not very physical at all, that's about to change. We will have some growing pains, Smart like Stoops will have some growing pains as a first time coach, but I couldn't be more happier with the hire. An elite recruiter, he will make it harder to get kids out of Georgia. We very likely could take a step back next year with all the changes, but in 17, changes will be adjusted too, all those frosh we played this year, about 22 will be Jr, we will be better, even with no Chubb or Michel
