Just so that you Auburn folks will know. I'm pulling for Oregon.

If Auburn wins, the rest of the country will hate the cheaters even more. There would also be more of a spotlight on pimps like Cecil. And I'd like that.

On the other hand, I'd like to see the bastards lose.

I'd be happy with either outcome.

I have a similar opinion about watching Cam play. On one hand it is fun to watch somebody dominate like that. On the other hand, I want him to have a compound fracture of the fibula.

I wish we had outbid them for Newton. We would definitely be in the same position as i honestly believe we have a better team than AU sans Newton. I have a feeling this was our one and only chance in my lifetime of legitimate (illegitimate by NCAA standards) chance at a National Championship and heisman for MSU. I could care less about forfeitures and asterisks after the fact. All I would remember is winning the NC and subsequently mortgaging my future by going so euphorically ape-****. Only God knows how long I would party like its 1941.

I have always liked Auburn. I have family that went to Auburn. But after what has happened over the last several months, I can't say they are still one of my favorites. I guess I was just really naive. This article from Y'all Sports really opened my eyes. http://theclevelandfan.co...nd-the-fallout-at-auburn

<span style="font-weight: bold;">"The question begging to be asked these days is not whether the Newtons
received a big chunk of cash to commit to Auburn. I've got to believe
none but the most blinded of Auburn partisans doubt that they paid big
money to land Newton."</span>

I think what Auburn has allowed Lowder to do at Auburn is everything that is wrong with college sports all wrapped up in one big unethical and immoral bow.

that Slive, the SEC and the NCAA would treat MSU and Auburn the same if we were the ones who bought Cam Newton, I have some oceanfront property in Siberia I'd like to sell to you...

If WE bought Cam we wouldn't even be bowling this year, regardless of schedule.

I wish no ill will toward Cameron. He deserved the Heisman by far.

I am pulling for Auburn even though their fans are the most ignorant in the SEC.

but I pulled for Ohio State against LSU, Texas against Alabama, and I will pull for Oregon against Auburn.

The SEC West teams in the title game can die in a fire for all I care.

This year I will definitely be pulling a little harder for Oregon, just because Auburn people don't deserve anything.

Cam knew what his father was doing, and honestly I don't blame them. They were taking advantage of the system in place. They got what they want, and Cecil will soon be bartering with NFL executives instead of Bobby Lowder.

...except for theft, cheating, & getting kicked off the Florida football team for being an all around *******, Cam Newton is an okay guy.

If you really belive Cam Newton is an innocent victim in all this mess, then the Auburn/national sports media propaganda machine is doing their job.

not like a red-headed step child, I would be all for it.

Although I really think we would actually see some leniency (not too much though) from the SEC, and to some degree the NCAA, for biting the bullet and self-imposing the Croom Error. That was a really big deal at the time. I'm sure everyone in the SEC and around the country is/was pumped to not have to heavily factor in skin color into their coaching searches anymore.

..I will not watch the game just like I didn't watch the SECCG game.

Having to watch a lowlife grifter like Cam Newton preen & strut up & down a football field makes me physically ill.

Recent criminals off the top of my head: Dontae Walker (only coke-head ever to battle obesity), Richard Burch (who I know for a fact was dealing all the way back to his & my freshman year), Nick Turner (dude needed a higher quality printer), Pig Prather (didn't he get busted for drugs?)....{insert former player turned criminal}

Cheaters: Dontae Jones... enough said

Hell, even Maurice Langston was caught transporting something like a pound of pot. How is he still on our team again?

Keeps the SEC at the top of the college football world.
AND if Auburn gets exposed as the cheaters they are then we won't have to worry about them in recruiting.

All the Cam hate aside if you've actually watched Oregon play you may have noticed a few things.

1. Speed. Oregon has it. Crazy speed. Speed that kills. Speed that they can keep up for 4 whole quarters. Offense, defense, special teams, the Ducks are 17n fast every where. Remember a few years back when JWS took us to theLiberty Bowl to face Air Force? We all thought we'd just line our big ole SEC team up and blow em off the line. Heck we out weighed em 20-30 lbs per man.AFA had speed and they used it to kill us. Oregon has this kind of speed and they're bigger than AFA.

2. Oregon LOST their starting QB and potential Heisman candidate and they're still un-beaten and playing for a NC. What's that tell you about the rest of the Oregon team? They're good. We all see what a shitastic job Masoli did for ole miss. He didn't make Oregon look good, they made him look good. Oregon didn't miss a beat because the rest of the team is damn good. AU had to gain a QB to be where they are. Without Cam AU is probably an 8 win team - at best. AU is one deminsional, as Cam goes so goes AU. Shut down Cam you shut down AU. You can bet your *** that's exactly what the Ducks have in mind.

3. Oregon is better coached. Nuff said there.

This is obvious to everyone, and yet no one has been able to do it. I'm not sure the Ducks can do it either. But if anyone can match Auburn score for score, it's UO.

It does seem like all the talk is about Auburn and Newton, and there is almost no talk about Oregon. You're right, they're damned good, and are probably going to come out with chips on their shoulders. I hope they beat Auburn 100-0. My head tells me that Auburn will probably win something like 45-38. Unfortunately.

But if anyone can match Auburn score for score, it's UO. If it gets into a track meet, yes, UO can hang with them. All I think is that UO has to stop them a time or two and get a few scores up. But then again I'm sure 'bama felt the same way about the 2nd. qtr. of the iron bowl.
I'm hoping that 'chip' on UOs shoulder motivates them a little more.

nobody is going to think "hmmm.. Auburn won the NC so I think I'll go to Mississippi State".. nobody that's worth a damn anyway.. that just makes it easier for them to sign the Quentin Groves and Jason Campbells of the world.

Plus none of these were kicked off the Florida football team for being lowlife ********. Plus none of these people tainted the image of college football by being nominated for, them winning, the Heisman trophy.

But nice try with your false equivalence.

Me thinks we paid him a lot of money and needed to keep him happy so he wouldn't rat us out. I have no idea, but I would assume his dad had some kind of involvement in attaining funds from boosters.
Plus none of these were kicked off the Florida football team for being lowlife ********.

Several of those players were kicked off the team for being "lowlife ********"... Turner, Burch, and who was that big OT (Michael something?)
Plus none of these people tainted the image of college football by being nominated for, them winning, the Heisman trophy.

So you also are blaming Newton for being the best College Football player in the nation (probably EVA).... Damn him for being so good, what an *******, who does he think he is? He should've been a true team player and threw a few games, you know, to keep'em honest..... You know what?, I bet our "lowlife ********" would have loved to win the heisman if given the chance. I know me and you both would have enjoyed that very much too.

I wonder what your posts would be like if we actually had raised the money to buy Cam... I would venture to guess you would be an MSU replica of the current mongoloid AU fans. Sour grapes man, sour grapes.
But nice try with your false equivalence.
