On MSU's pass rush, which has produced a league-low 12 sacks: "I'm not worried about stats right now. At this point, you're just trying to win a ballgame. Then after that, the season stats and how that washes out, we'll see when the season is over with."

No **** you aren't worried about stats Sly, but I don't think that was the point of the question. I believe the point of the question was "why does your team suck *** at getting to the QB" This is not something that you figure out at the end of the season.

Also, the offense is not something you figure out at the end of your 5th season.

stats are used to see what you are good and bad at. the fella telling me said that if you win or lose a game of some sort that you can use stats to see "how" you did whatever it is that you did. wonder if sly has heard that anywhere?

Yeah, and and if you'd get some damn pressure on the opposing QB, you might win a few more ballgames, you 17-ing dubmass.

......know what an in-game or in-season adjustment is. He makes adjustments between seasons, and if they don't pan out in the first game or two he just throws his hands up in the air and says "oh well, we tried."

He just putting a spin on the reality of the situation. And the reality is our DE's are not SEC caliber. See Sean Ferguson drawing the start the last game as a true freshmen.
