FWIW A buddy of mine is a pro scout and was at our practice today and he said "you guys actually look really good!" He's been covering MSU for 5 years so he's seen the really bad. He also said we have two 1st rounders... Sherrod and Big Pern. He was also there checking out KJ and C White.<div>
</div><div>Also asked who's practice has been most impressive and least impressive. He said so far TCU has been most impressive and Ohio State was the least. Just thought I would pass this along</div>

Pro scouts certainly do not share that kind of info. What is the scout name and what team?

Pro scouts that are your friends do. Why would he not share this info with me? Its not like he's giving away our gameplan (I didnt ask and he prob doesnt know or care) he's just looking at our practice as a whole and individual players. Im not posting his name here and you can flame all you want I just passed along what he told me on the phone. Sorry but my life is not pathetic enough to make **** up and put it on a message board to gain popularity. Thought ppl would find this interesting but asshats like you make me want to keep it to myself.

I know one who was a scout for Yankees during the 90's and early 00's and who is now with the Giants. He would always tell me, and still does, what players he is looking at and what each of them does well. He has 5 world series rings also.

30 pts/game is less important to me than scoring more than the opponent and winning. We can score 30 a game and give up 31 so who gives a ****. You put your money on Relf 30 td's yet?

I mean how could a pro scout have friends and tell them about what they see everyday? Amazing. My buddy has a Super Bowl ring too and he got it in the last 5 years so you can narrow it down to 5 teams

College practices are scheduled for Pro Days every week across the country. If a player goes pro then it makes the coaches look good which helps recruiting. I asked him this very question and that was his response.

I don't think any coach would not allow a scout to come to practice to look at one of his players even if is close to the public. After all I think College coaches take pride in how many of his players get drafted. A couple of players going in the first round has to help with recruiting. Just for the record I take you for your word. I think you do know a scout and I think he did give you some info. But this is the six pack and you are going to catch some **** every time you post. If I was going to come here and make up some ****, it would be better then that. So I'm with you.

He went to OM's practice before ours, and was driving to So Miss last night when he called.

"Perhaps most importantly for the players on the field, 16 scouts
representing 11 NFL franchises will visit Starkville for the game.
That’s considerably higher than the usual number."- Kyle Veazey

He said basically the same thing...talked to a scout and mentioned more than a handful that the scout thought projected well to the NFL. I don't remember the details and don't feel like looking it up, but I have no reason not to believe him - he's generally pretty accurate with info. I think he mentioned 5+ juniors/seniors - which is nothing earth shaking, but clearly a move in the right direction talent-wise.
