Just to put this basketball disaster into perspective.

LSU and Auburn are 3-3 against MSU and each other and 2-18 against the rest of the league. That's just pathetic.

I doubt anyone saw them shooting lights out from behind the arc in the first half. They've been playing better over the last several weeks and put together a great performance last night. Horrible timing for us, but that's the way the ball bounces. Of course the board is in meltdown mode. That's the way the ball bounces too. Hit the last second shot, everything's fine. Miss it,and the world has ended. Benock makes that last 3, he's the hero of the game. Miss it, and it's a disgrace that he has an SEC scholarship.

and the day I say he has played great this season - it was Benock of old. He passed up some looks last night.

There is no defense for last night along with no DEFENSE.. None at all.

our student non-athlete was not in position to "make that last 3" because, you see, he had his chuck taylors a good 6 inches inside the arc.

Benock did step inside the arc. And the defense did really let us down. With all the recent good press Ravern has garnered lately with improved attitude and play, his defense really took a step backwards yesterday. He just seemed a step slower than anyone he was matched up with.

freethrows, and anybody and everybody is going to beat this group. Sidney played pretty good last night, but once he gets into foul trouble he turns into a matador in the lane! Give Ravern credit, he was very consistent defensively, whoever he defended scored with ease! Screw it, it's time to see what Cohen does this year.

I remember LSU being on fire from outside vs TSUN. Stans should have scouted and game planed better, oh wait he doesn't do that. We never should have been in position to lose that game. Ravern is the worst defender in the history of the SEC.
We let off the gas in the first half, shot horrible from the free throw
line, sat both the RSS and Kodi with 2 fouls to end 1st half, you have to keep one in. Turned
the ball over more than kids at a cake walk, shot too many ill-advised
3 pointers, got killed on the boards again, and didn't foul early
enough at the end of the game. It was easy, all we had to do was to keep feeding the RSS
or for Bost to drive to the hole, and play some solid defense and REBOUND, REBOUND, REBOUND....
