All of the above? I think we have seen enough to know though this staff won't get it done. Unfortunately we have to watch them flounder the next few years.
Offensive realities: 1) best athletes/playmakers are at WR ... takes a consistent QB to make that work 2) OL doesn't have a first-team- all-conference-caliber on it, that I know of, let alone all-American
Defensive realities: 1) LB/DB - between inexperience and injuries...not good 2)DL - the only position with all-conference talent on the team
I didn't follow OSU and don't even know what Riley's strengths/weaknesses are as a coach. With the personnel he has + injuries, I find it difficult to define his 9-game tenure as a coach. The season has been terrible.I hate what has happened this year. Absolutely can't wait to be relevant again, as I hate that my sons haven't had the experience with Husker football that I did growing up. "Clearly" Riley's fault, as some claim...I don't know. Unless the expectation was that he should be able to take less talent, more injuries, and some reported cancerous attitudes and make us a winner...??? Hope we can finish strong, get to 5 wins and possibly sneak into a bowl game - end on some sort of positive. Recruiting is going to be (insert Trump voice) hUGE. hUGE!
