1) Thats the most determined we have played all year. We beat them head to head, mano e mano. We simply outplayed them. I have never seen that look on JV's face.

2) Poetic justice for Scotty Hopson and his momma. If he want to Tenn to "improve his chances at success" then he just failed. JV can give him the same rap Shaq gave Kobe. Stewart embarassed Hopson a total of 3 times. Thank you Randy.

3) Refs and clock operators should be demoted to junior high ball after that last 9.6, 9.0, 9.3, 8.0 seconds.

4) Phil Turner closed out the game for us. Period. I want him taking the last shot from here on out.

5) I cannot stand Chism or Smith - JV outplayed them both.

That is all.

Prince bodied him out of bounds. Did not push him with his hands but ran him over, watch the replay

The announcers were right when they said he was looking and waiting for the foul before they even touched him. However, that was one of many many instances of questionable officiating in the last 5 minutes alone.

I think it was a sloppy play. He was also moving away from the defender and toward the out of bounds line.

The calls I objected to most were Jarvis's third foul, when he was cleared out of the lane and the foul that was called after the travel in the waning seconds.

Our inbounds play was horrible in the sequence we're discussing here, and we're lucky that we won the game in spite of it. Recall that the sequence started with us throwing the ball off a foot and having to inbound from the corner. Recall also how long it took to get the ball to Bost in that bad position, and how about Bost's decision to move the ball toward the wrong basket when he got it?

for the Lame officials in this game. In the first minute or two, an offensive foul on TN was a no call. It was screwed up from start to finish.

Except the result. The result was top notch.

Edited to add: The push that I thought should have been called was the one that caused the free throw rebound to go out of bounds off of Jarvis around the 1 minute mark. That should have either been a foul or off them and our ball. But it all worked out.

The insane number of balls that went out of bounds when we went up to rebound them? It was unreal

I agree, he gave in to the contact too quick. We had the possession arrow, the worst thing that should have happened there was a jump ball.

I have NEVER been so freakin pissed at all the boards we couldn't grab under the basket... Either we would fumble it out of bounds or 2 of our players would run into each other and knock it out. I just knew it would come back to haunt us with all of those miss chances.
