I know he can do whatever he wants, but twould suck if he went somewhere else when we were his only offer from a BCS AQ out of high school.

He played QB in high school. If he had played CB or Safety full-time he would have blown up. He will have a lot of big schools trying to sign him next season.

Did you get the feeling he still wants to beat Mississippi State or that he's completely open minded now that he's expecting to get many more offers than what he had in high school?

Some bigger schools are recruiting him now. I know someone in his family and they were telling that LSU and Bama were showing interest. He had a monster season so I think he was being truthful when saying that he was seeing how it goes. I don't think he really cares. I asked him about an interview during season but he was to focused on football. Don't forget that MSU has signed 4 cornerbacks.

We have signed several players who were primarily QBs in HS. Cameron Lawrence and Jameon Lewis come to mind. It is part of a coach's job to see how their skills would translate to another position in college. Fact is, our staff saw his skill set, whereas Bama and LSU did not. Typical luck for us. We discover someone in our backyard, he doesn't qualify, goes JUCO, has a great year, and now he Bama and LSU are all up on him.

Ever heard of Pernell McPhee. How could MSU not know about him. Sometimes guys are hidden even by the recruiting sites.

McPhee only played one year of high school ball and went to a high school in Florida.</p>
Just pointing to the fact MSU has signed guys who were under the radar coming out of high school and then blew up in JUCO after previously signing with another school.
