Vaccination is an individual choice that should be kept an individual choice, until the vaccine is thoroughly researched, refined, or the virus evolves into something with a higher mortality rate(like Ebola or something). LIke EerDoc said, people use to get vaccines for Polio, Measles, Smallpox, etc... Which statistically are more serious then COVID, so I dont agree COVID passes the line in the sand when you impose vaccines. I will say, even if that time comes, I will never agree with vaccine passports. Nobody has the right to remove your ability to engage with society. We can discuss what is a reasonable line in the sand.... 10% Mortality, 20%, 5%?? Im not sure, as I place a value on both individual liberty & reasonable laws to protect its citizens. This isnt about someone being vaccinated or not. Because you can still get the virus and spread the virus being fully vaccinated. There are many conflicting articles about whether or not the vaccine increases risks. There could be elderly have a higher vaccination rate, so its falsely skewing the data, IDK, I havent dove into that aspect of it much. This thread is about someone knowing they have COVID, and going to a very crowded & close proximity public event and intentionally spreading it and putting peoples health at risk. Which is no different then driving while intoxicated.
