I hate to see him go also but maybe the Hardy kid is transferring to UK? I can’t see Cal being short handed at guard.

Baker I understood especially the way the season ended. JJ finished strong and could've been a starter his junior year. Kids and their parents are too impatient anymore. Not all these kids are gonna be one and done. Most need 2 or 3 years. Sad

Not a surprise at all. We have a large class of wing players on the way in. Combine that a history of defections, draft or transfer, under Cal and the notion seemed realistic

I remember either his coach or a family member did not want him at UK anyway so maybe they have been in his ear a little bit.

Cal seems to really struggle getting/keeping west coast guys.


I was just about to say that they need to stop recruiting kids from out there unless they're surefire superstars who will only be here for a year anyway. The lesser talented guys from California never stay here.

Exactly. With Hagans and IQ still up in the air, he could of played even less next year.
