About the time Watuaga would have been starting this way, we were having a bad storm, and I went out on my porch, and the winds had to be gusting at 30 to 40 mph, and no one knew how long it would last or how wet the field would be. Good decision considering the long drive from Boone, NC.You guys becoming soft in granite city. I guess they were concerned about lightning in the area.
I bet one of these days someone will invent a technology that will be able to track storms and see how big they are and which direction they are going. They might even be able to figure out the speed so they could have a rough idea when it will be over.About the time Watuaga would have been starting this way, we were having a bad storm, and I went out on my porch, and the winds had to be gusting at 30 to 40 mph, and no one knew how long it would last or how wet the field would be.
