that as a fan I would not fault the guy for hanging it up. It would be insane if he got hurt trying to beat JSU in the NIT. I don't think you could ask anything more of the guy. Do I think he will do this.....no. But if I am his dad I tell him that its time to be selfish.

Those are some low standards you have.
Why not be selfish a week ago and hang it up then? 3 games in 3 days could have gotten him hurt. Or just wrap it up once he broke the blocks record, you know, since its all apparently about him and all.

JV has no reason to hang it up. He should continue playing and keep padding his stats. He still has a shot at winning a title he better be playing.
