Kailo quotes from yesterday according to Yancy:

"I would have to give it a 10. Coach Freeze and Nix have totally sold my grandmom and mom on Ole Miss. That's where they want me to be. Coach Freeze really won over my grandmom yesterday. He had already sold my mom."

**"Nix and Feeeze met up with all of my family members last night. We drove around and stopped by all of my family houses in Bolivar and everyone just got to know everyone better."

**Im thinking Ole Miss stronger than ever right now."

Mullen has got to prevent stuff like this. It'd be OK if we EVER flipped anybody else, but it's typically always one of our guys. What do guys find out later in the process that makes them flip anyway? It's not because Ole Miss is a better school. Simply put, we can't lose our star talent in the State of Mississippi.

Its time to drop Moore and go after some better talent, its out there. The fix

has been in on K. Moore for a while now. Not a surprise. I wonder which hand he had
the Bible in and which one had the $100**

Moore also said this that Yancy left off- "“I’m still thinking Mississippi State, but Ole Miss has made up some tremendous ground,”

But I actually agree with you. I just dont see the kid sticking with Football for the long haul. He is a track star with eyes on the Olympics. There are alot more that end up quitting for track than end up turning into Chris Rainey's

Even if we keep more, does it concern anyone else that he's a "track guy". Seems like those players never pan out.

Someone is going to be made to look like a carnival rube, when this is over. (No, it is not anyone who has posted in this thread.)

Why not put him in as a slot receiver and take advantage of his speed? He'd sure last longer than he would as a RB. He may stick with track if he can imporve enough that he has a chance to make any $$$ at it.

The "network" has been in full gear on this one for a while. Yancy is well plugged into what their goals are so when he says someone will be flipped its because he knows the operation is putting full focus on that player. Same crap with Brassell, CJ, Patterson, etc. Funny how Mom was fully on board with MSU but now has been "totally sold" on Ole Miss. Seems to me the goal of the OM booster network is to get everybody in the support system around a kid bought into OM (by whatever means necessary) and then eventually the influence and pressure around the kid will cause him to fold and go to OM even if personally he would rather go to MSU. Most kids are NOT going to go against their family, friends, mentors, etc. if they are all pushing for a specific school even if they really would prefer going somewhere else. No doubt the Bears "play the game" at a level much more advanced than us.

Rosebowl reported about a week ago that the bears want him to make a signing day flip. The bears aren't just recruiting, they are sabotaging us. But, what else is new?

I want Moore, plain and simple. But I'm sick and tired of Freeze pulling this evangelical **** where he makes everyone seem like he's a nice guy but is a snake in the grass. If Moore is foolish enough to let the UM goon squad persuade him into going there he's not mentally tough enough to play here anyway.

If you're somehow reading this, come to MSU and basically have the position and a standout track career too.... Or go to Ole Miss and compete with 100 backs they've signed in the past 2 years and compete on a mediocre track team. It's really worked out well for the other super stars they've talked into leaving us for them.

A signing day flip won't sabotage us at all. If they wanted to do that, he should flip right now to start the dominos falling.

That's why the sooner Nkemdiche commits to them, the better their chances of getting some fallout and looks from other national guys.

What this recruiting BS boils down to, is who, as a fanbase, is willing to put the time, effort and energy into doing what it takes. Who cares if that's money or whatever. And most of the time, it's done by people who ARE NOT PAID by the university, ie coaches and recruiters. It's boosters and fans who are just rabid.

Ole Miss has shown time and time again that winning in football is their priority. They'll do what they have to do. MSU fans would rather not follow recruiting and instead go deer hunting. Nothing wrong with either, but over the long haul, if we don't invest this effort, we won't have as good a program as them. Alabama is the blueprint here, by the way. It's not that they have more resources than the other elite similar programs. Georgia, USC, Florida, etc. have more. It's just that the Alabama fanbase will do WHATEVER it takes to ensure success. They don't wait on anybody else to do it for them.

At the very minimum, MSU needs to get their heads out of the their asses and start portraying our university as a place that attracts students from everywhere. Stop letting people tell us how we aren't any good. Get a little bit of that arrogance ourselves. Don't go overboard, but put our best foot forward.

a question. i realize freeze wearing his faith on his sleeve rubs some the wrong way and i won't argue the merits or demerits of that, but can you share with me some specific things that freeze has done that prove to you that he is a snake in the grass?

i see folks...mostly msu... diss him about his preachiness and i get that, but i'm not aware of things he has done that contradict what he says.

I think it is more that in a lot of experiences some of us have had over time that we see the person constantly preaching when they are not preachers as fake. I know that makes me cynical and I agree that I am.

It's very simple. Ole Miss pays extremely hott white girls to 17 the recruits. Which school are you going to choose when you're 18 and thinking with your dick? The competition doesn't play fair my friends. It's both money and ***** that Ole Miss sells. MSU sells academics and new facilities and blah blah boring and Ole Miss gets you wasted and getting your dick sucked by the two hottest girls you've ever seen with a grand in your pocket when you go home. Ole Miss means it when they say "yea but we ain't never lost a party". They sell "party" all day every day and since 95% of all football players couldn't give two ***** about anything else outside of sex, money and football Ole Miss continues to sign these players over State.

I wonder how much it is costing them to get these recruits to overlook the race riots and harrassment of minorities they participate in up there?

Honestly I've seen nothing from Freeze that makes me dislike him. Actually quite the opposite. I think he's a pretty good guy. My personal opinion is anyone hating on him is probably just a little jealous. And not to mention that he shares the same religious beliefs as me. Nothing wrong with interjecting that into recruiting, it's a good thing.

At some point people need to sit back and understand this is football. If we want to beat him in recruiting, beat him. But don't try and tear down. That's the problem with everyone right now, including a portion of the Ole Miss fanbase, who lives to tear down MSU as well. It's dumb. Let each school play to their own strengths.

maybe their tactic is a form of effective marketing, unlike ineffective marketing such as hash tags and uniforms.

Everyone needs to relax and let things play out. An insecure fanbase is an unattractive fanbase. The vast majority of State fans are far too insecure about recruiting and Ole Miss based on what happened in one single offseason, when we lost our best recruiter AND or DC within a week of each other a month before signing day.

Hold your heads up. MSU is about to put together the best recruiting class most of us remember seeing. Would be great to do that with Kailo Moore in the boat, but it's ok if he jumps out as well. WE have been keeping Dodson lukewarm on us for this very reason.

It is by far my biggest pet peeve when religion gets brought into something it doesn't need to be in, and Freeze did that on day one. And since I've heard how Freeze is such a "good man" and stuff with no proof or way of backing it up.

He's a snake in the grass because he calls recruits committed to us like Coman and Moore and tries to make them flip at the last minute to 17 with us. Taking recruits is the business, making them pretend to be committed is another thing all together.

Freeze plays the "I'm a Christian! Send your kids to play for me!" card and I think it's 17ed up. I can't stand it.

I could give a flying 17 if he showed up at RUF one night. How is that any better than Mullen making his players go to church with him? Neither should matter. On BOTH SIDES it's a show. At least Mullen keeps it in his pants.

I understand that, but I think the problem with that when it comes to Freeze is that he is being Genuine. Does he know how to play the recruiting game? Sure. But I think he actually cares for the kids' well-being as much as his own...the players this year have expressed as much, and many of them turned on the snake-oil salesman Nutt in 2011.

Everyone should just expect Kalio Moore to UM and count it as a victory if he stays with us. Save the headache.

This is the kind of stupidity that permeates the biggest morons on this board. Every school does it the same. I guess you forgot about that trip to the Pony that some recruits took a few years back, huh? Or do you think that was a one time event that never happened before or after again?

^^^ This in spades...

It is absolutely ridiculous that 30 and 40 year old men are hanging on every word of 17-18 year old kids. Signing day can't get here soon enough.

Lets see. Telling Richie Brown's dad he wasn't a Christian (that a 17ing fact), cussing out our staff and RE's family in operation jortfro, etc... He reminds me off Steve Martin in that old movie

I'll give him props on this too. When players genuinely play hard, it's a reflection on the coach. You can't fake it.

I'm not into repping Ole Miss but I'll give credit where it's due. That's where Houston Nutt went wrong. Guy was a master motivator but in the end didn't give a **** about the kids.

It's a principle I happen to believe in. Work hard doing the right things and good things come naturally.

No, I don't think that of every recruit. Just this one.

Based off what someone I believe told me. Whether it turns out to be true or not, we'll find out in February.
