Difference is the girls that work at the Pony don't attend MSU. Your school sluts out mommy and daddy's finest like a machine.

Everyone should just expect Kalio Moore to UM and count it as a victory if he stays with us. Save the headache.

^^^This^^^ I worry more about the about how the specks and reds are gonna bite MS and LA this summer than I do Kailo flipping. I would love to have him but the possible meltdown is a bit absurd.

Opens up a spot for one of these many JUCOs we are recruiting because 2010 and 2011 were so terrible.****

Lets see. Telling Richie Brown's dad he wasn't a Christian (that a 17in g fact), cussing out our staff and RE's family in operation jortfro, etc... He reminds me off Steve Martin in that old movie

I was trying to remember who the recruit was until I read your post. He said something along the lines of Mullen being an atheist and he fears for Richie's soul if he goes to MSU. It was more than one recruit he used the atheist lie.

Kailo quotes from yesterday according to Yancy:

"...He had already sold my mom."

**"We drove around ... everyone just got to know everyone better."

Recruits know how the game is played. TSUN plays. State doesn't. If a recruit commits to State first, he can create a market for himself (and/or his handlers). Then he can judge if TSUN really values** his services more. Who doesn't like a little Christmastime shopping in Mississippi?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I've yet to see TSUN flip a 4-star recruit from outside of Mississippi.

maybe their tactic is a form of effective marketing, unlike ineffective marketing such as hash tags and uniforms.

Maybe their effective marketing is their campus, or their parties, or their girls. Lord knows they don't spend money on hash tags and uniforms or even a state-wide or nation-wide campaign. They're not about mass-media. It's about direct-deposit.

Oops, I almost forgot about their tradition***

I understand that, but I think the problem with that when it comes to Freeze is that he is being Genuine. Does he know how to play the recruiting game? Sure. But I think he actually cares for the kids' well-being as much as his own...the players this year have expressed as much, and many of them turned on the snake-oil salesman Nutt in 2011.

We all know that these are the coaches "kids". They love them and all.. until a bigger payday comes along. Then it becomes a business decision. Mighty interesting how quickly values** change.

And if Freeze was an honorable man, he would affirm Moore's commitment to State. Something like the Jerry McGuire line, "My word is as strong as oak." Instead Freeze drives his "bagman" Nix down to Bolivar to sweet-talk the family.

But hey, it would hurt them more to miss on Moore than it would us.

I've got some pretty good Freeze stories from someone he was in college with at

USM but unfortunately they are not fit for public consumption, not even on this venue. Let's put it this way, he may be a choir boy now but he was far from it then even though he headed up the USM Baptist Student Union until he resigned. Do a little digging.

Kailo quotes from yesterday according to Yancy:

**"Nix and Feeeze met up with all of my family members last night. We drove around and stopped by all of my family houses in Bolivar and everyone just got to know everyone better."

**Im thinking Ole Miss stronger than ever right now."

Suspicious since he lives in Rosedale, not Bolivar. He knows where he lives.

You can't play the recruiting game and be on the up and up. It's impossible.

Does that make you a bad person? No but it should exclude you from proclaiming "Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior" in a momma's house.

If was21 could get the chick in his avatar to go along with it, we could nail down half a dozen new 4-5 stars. I'm just saying...

You are right, recruiting is part of their DNA and damn near as important as

actually playing football games. It goes back to the Vaught/Bryant days when they would hand out scholarships like candy just to keep kids from going to State or Auburn if they thought the kids might hurt them. Of course they had the kids best interest at heart and still do**. Thank god for the new rules on scholarships.

The difference in recruiting approaches aligns pretty well with the cultures of the Universities, I think you get what I'm saying.

totally agree ... I know he had 4 stars but the physical buils was a little off

IMO - for an SEC running back
ETA - "physical build" not bulis

And that matters because?... How people were in college and how people are in later life tend to be alot different.

It's not "dumb". They would do anything to wipe Mississippi State off the map in football and in monst everything else. If you fall for Freeze and his ******** you can eat a dick.

It really doesn't matter, kind of like this whole obsession with K. Moore,

ridiculous. I see it as relevant because he was projecting the same public image at USM that he is today
but there was some real hanky panky behind the scenes. So maybe, just maybe things haven't changed that much.

The thing

that makes me believe it isn't, is how ANY instance of him participating in any religious function, is front and center. I think Freeze must have spoke at 10000 different Woman Baptist Union luncheons this past summer. To me, that just comes off as fake. It's like he's sitting there "hey make sure y'all take a picture of me!"

Where was all this talk of MSU's illegal activity when he flipped from Ole Miss to State?

Actually Freeze's offense is a better fit for him anyway. But here we 17ing go again!! We won't keep Kailo and most likely won't get Shumpert either. With the other coach hirings today, I no longer like the direction we're headed in under the current staff. Things just got a lot tougher around here!
