They were numbered the day he stepped foot in Tuscaloosa.
I thought he would last 2 1/2 years.
He may not make it a full 2
I thought I was the only one who gave him two years... Welcome to the club! It's not that I think he's a terrible coach; I know how those people at Alabama are.

I have heard everybody that has said you do not want to be the guy to follow Saban. And you are right. 63 million, on the other hand, will make that fall from grace very cushy. Get a sun belt head job after a few years of Mai tais and quesadillas Kalen.

DeBoer is being well paid to be the sacrifice on the alter of Saben. I always felt sorry for Ray Perkins. He was well paid by the standards of the time, but the standards back then were not generational money.

Dude never was a good fit for Bama. I would take him in a heartbeat at state.
He’s definitely not a fit at Bama, and I’m not sure he’s a fit for the SEC at all. Dude has taken a team that was built by the best on about as solid of a foundation as you can have, and has demoed it in 1-yr. It’s shocking how soft they’re playing (particularly on both lines of scrimmage).

I woke up happy this morning. MSU and FSU won and Alabama lost. All is right in the world for a week.

Kiffin to Bammer

They say they don't want Kiffin, but I bet they'd love him if Byrne were to hire him. As long as he never lost a game. Then his head would be on the chopping block. A few were even unhappy with Saban whenever he lost a game.

What is this foundation? Last I checked the players can leave immediately. This argument was BS in 2005 when Croom was spouting it, and it’s more BS now.
