Who cares. He’s a 15th man type. He’s not even playing this year. We are after better players.
I hope it comes out that Pope told him to go elsewhere because he found someone else and not that Pope struggled and failed to get his own guy to UK.
He only played 19 minutes a game for BYU, how many minutes you think he would have gotten at UK?
My guess is they have 0 scholarship players and aren’t worried about filling up roster spots, so using a scholly for an end of the bench redshirt and scoring a “win” over Pope is a why not situation. Low stakes.
Me too because if Pope couldn't beat out Louisville for him we are in big trouble.

Not hard to figure out. The Cards are DESPERATE for players and probably offered the kid MUCH MORE than what he is actually worth. Good for the kid AND good for UK.
