Him and Williams out after curfew ran stairs and sat first half
So after that get beat down they don’t follow team rules. Makes sense. No wonder other guys haven’t done much or look like they don’t care. Seems to me like Lowe/BG/Kam may be locker room issues. Seeing them act on the bench and where they sit reinforces my beliefs. The whole Mo D and OO’s supposed issue may have just made things nuclear. Hopefully that is over as the majority the team looked engaged after the game at least.

He's short, unathletic and can't shoot.
He's also not nor will he be 100% this year.
Silas Demary and Wilkerson were huge misses. Any numerous big athletic guards and shooters we missed on would completely transform this team. The staff literally missed on every target that would have actually made us as good as preseason rankings suggested.

Is Kam our Cade Tyson? Sure seems like it. He can’t hit anything and doesn’t really add much else.
He definitely doesn’t look like a high level player. It’s a shame because him and his dad seemed like really good people. I was excited for him but he hasn’t looked the part of a major contributor at all. No idea where the NBA noise comes from.

Exactly anyone thinking he was coming here to be a star is mistaken same for the rest of them. They were our 3rd and 4th choices we are about to find that out again real quick Saturday against IU , 12/20 against St Johns , and 1/3 against Alabama!
Plus Wilkerson had a Nuclear game last night and you know he is gonna be out to show Kentucky up again like when his dissed us by commiting to Indiana shortly after his visit.

Gotta cut him loose at years end.
His "salary" can be put to better use.
Idk might want to hang on to him for the extra body… this JMI deal that keeps popping up regarding recruiting will be tough to get anyone else. Zero commitments while other teams are reloading, this is a first that I can remember anyway

The Indiana game might be the game that breaks fans. It could get really ugly if that game ends with a loss. I still think Pope pulls off the win because the other option is basically the equivalent of a nuclear disaster. It should be almost unthinkable to think we lose, but you never know with this team. Nothing has shown me we can win, but it’s not like Indiana didn’t just lose to a mediocre Minnesota team on the road.

Well, if Lowe isn’t any good, we're screwed worse than we already know.
I believe a lot of his shoulder drama was from Pope building him up (unfairly) in the offseason as SGA 2.0, but in reality, Lowe is just a high volume/ low efficiency middling Pitt level PG.

Let’s not forget that Lowe was Pope’s 4th or 5th PG option for a reason.

They also absolutely murdered a better Penn State team last night and Wilkerson had like 42 or something crazy.

Kam was supposed to be our plug and play Koby Brea replacement. A lot of evaluators were wrong on him, NBA scouts, talent evaluators, people on Pope's staff etc. It does happen. But Kam wasn't a 3rd or 4th option. He was a first option that signed before last years team was even out of the tournament. This staff clearly thought he would be Koby 2.0 and everyone is shocked at how unserviceable he has been in pretty much every facet of the game. Our 3 and D NBA talent level foundation piece is a fraud so far who can't even perform under the bright lights against Ken Pom 300 teams... The miss that he is, is one of the most shocking. Most of the other guys weren't near the top of our Portal board and were settled for players, so while disappointing, they aren't close to Kam being an airball.

I love his effort. This opponent is comprised of D2 transfers and ranks 350 out of 358 in D1. We need to run a motion offense that prioritizes screens to get shooters open looks for Trent to be effective. Screens take effort, on both ends of the court- watch the screens on offense and defense, and you will see the difference between a good team and a lazy low effort, undisciplined team.......
Bingo. Been saying this for a while now. Our guys dont even know how to use a screen. They don’t run their man into the screener. Constant motion is imperative when u have lesser talent.

Watching the highlights when they scrimmaged the TBT team had me a little skeptical about his shooting. He just didn’t look fluid and that has carried over to the season.

Still have no idea how he shot 41% on that many attempts. His shooting form is fugly. No wonder he’s so inconsistent and can’t hit anything. It’s like a shot put. I like when he drives the ball, if he could play defense he would be useful. We need him to knock open 3’s down. He bricked all of them tonight. Easiest shots he will get too.

Kam also hesitates on every shot he shoots. I thinks that’s why he’s struggling. Don’t think about it, just catch it and let er fly.

Kam was pretty much worthless tonight outside of a nice assist and a blocked shot. He missed all of his open threes. At some point we have to realize that he was a nine-point per game guy from Tulane.
Kam was supposed to be a three point shooter. I can't recall him even hitting one in 10 games. And when he does shoot them, they are WAY off.

That guy is on draft boards and he’s pretty high up too.
We've seen this so many times where a guy struggles here, then goes to the NBA and becomes an elite shooter/scorer, because someone pushed tge right buttons.
He has good form and NBA level length and athleticism, but he’s just on one heck if a struggle bus here.

I'm not giving up on Kam, or Lowe, I have seen both players play so much better than they are now.

Lowe has game, we've all seen it, but these guys are struggling, because they are out of sorts on the court. They just aren't meshing with each other, which is odd, because they worked together all spring, summer and fall.

I'm about done believing every word Pope says. His overly positive "everything is beautiful" and "we're awesone" schtick, has already worn thin.

After watching him rip into BG, even Mark Pope might be tired of it too. You can't lie to this fanbase and put an inch of sugar coating on everything, when you know it’s not true.

just another head scratcher in this team's make up
don't understand this guy or Mo and truthfully Lowe
just can't play with the best teams with this kind of talent

Does it concern anyone else that coming off a 35 point embarrassing blow out where you get booed off the court……in the first half…..we have 2 players with disciplinary issues???? Like, can you not think of the team and maybe just maybe leave the selfishness at the house.
$$$ is the only thing that matters..........just more proof of that
