This should be quoted next time peoplestart using MSU football failuresin an effort to justify that changes to the basketball program would be detrimental. It obviously doesnt take big budgets and 5 All-Americans to be asuccessful basketball program. Im not asking to be in contention to win a National Championship every year (even regular season SEC titles and Tourney Titles are great, but SEC West titles are total BS given that we finished 5th in the conference this year at the end of the regular season), but if getting the chance to be in that position is not at least on the radar, the program will be left behind. 5 years ago, I thought MSU basketball was a program that believed in contending for these feats, but now I believe they are content with the smaller things in life.whatever said:Everyone basically has a chance to be good, unlike in football, where the have nots don't have a chance.</p>
