Good top of the first for the Cats.

Awesome that we get to sit back and see who is going to be our opponent in OMAHA.

K-State`s pitcher threw a breaking ball so nasty that the batter swung at it even though it bounce in front of the plate...go Cats

They have a different looking field. Is the outfield real grass? That is a huge rise from the fake dirt to the outfield.

Not sure. It is a little odd looking for sure.

Off subject, but why would they put a guy in the booth that can barely speak English? Is he a guest for an inning or two, or is he going to be on there all game?

His English sounds weird. He may be Canadian.

Beavers are hitting lots of HR's

Thats a long time. I didn't know Oregon has been a state that long.

This Kats pitcher has a surfer mop

Having an accent does not equate to "barely speaking English," or us Southerners could be accused of it.

Infield is fake, outfield is real grass. I think Wichita State has the same type of field (or at least they used to).

This Oregon St team is clearly superior to KState -- and a threat to make alot of noise in Omaha with their 3 tremendous starting pitchers. This is their #3 guy throwing tonight -- against a KState team that is #2 nationally in team batting average.

One thing that has stood out to me in this game and last nights. Most of their long balls are hit to right center. That would be opposite field for righties. Which I think are the ones hitting the long balls. There may be a lefty that has but I think most are righties.
