I think it's great! There are a lot of students at KU that grew up just a stone's throw away in Johnson County, KS. Not to mention that it's a World Championship. That is huge, no matter how you slice it.

Oh, and BTW, leodis, their basketball program has a national title a lot more recent than we do a football title. And they are ranked 4th in pre-season polls. We would give our left arm to be ranked 4th right now.

You are correct. I actually like Lawrence, and had a lot of fun partying down there in my college days. Good college town, more just referring to how terrible their FB program is. Definitely a Bball school.
