Anybody else feel a little embrassment that 2 Kansas schools are playing the 2nd round tournament game on our driveway while we stand by and watch. What has kansas got that nebraska doesn't. Mountains, oceans, population centers, facilities, hot coeds? Nope the states are about the same in all respects and we have the better facilities and coeds.

I hope miles goes to this game, talks to the coaches and maybe steals a few assistants away from both teams.

It boggles my mind how many Nebraska fans truly don't understand the monumental task Tim Miles and his staff have in order to make Nebraska a consistent winner.

One trip to the NCAA tournament and everyone thinks we should make it every year. Too bad we are (traditionally) the second worst power conference program in the country. Our staff, assistants included, are doing just fine. Stealing assistants from KU and Wichita isn't what we need. A new head coach isn't what we need. What we need is to give Tim Miles time to build. You don't change 100 years of sucking around in three years....

Kansas and Wichita State have good basketball history. Certainly we know Kansas does. But so does Wichita State going back to the days of Gene Smithson and guys like Antonie Carr, Xavier McDanial and Cliff Livingston. So I'm not really embarrassed at all. Of course, I don't like either school or both coaches. But I've got tickets to the game Sunday. Can't wait.
