This has been a long day of anticipating the finale. The hangover didn't help matters any.

they say:
She is upset with herself... strange way of showing it.

Like I said a few weeks ago, This Is a Soap Opera with Zombies.

...was the thing with 2 armless walkers on chains.

And was that a prison in the background in the ending shot? I would have thought a cop would know where the prison is.

I don't really want spoilers here. Just speculation.

I watched the talking dead and they gave the name of the character and who was playing the role. Afterwards I did some reading on the Internet about that character, and what I read got me even more fired up with where season 3 is headed.

In the comics, Michonne removes the arms and lower jaws of her zombified boyfriend and his best friend during the outbreak. She chains them up and drags them with her in order to mask her scent from the other zombies.<div>
</div><div>And yes, that was a prison and is the scene of many important events in the comics.</div>

That is awesome! Didn't catch the lower jaw removal part. Now I no longer wonder why the walkers on chains weren't attacking the cloaked one.

They also mentioned in the comics that sometimes the zombies will become fairly docile to a human they've been around for a while. I don't know if that'll translate to the show though.

I'm begining to wonder if T Dog wasn't supposed to be Tyreesse. Only the he did notdevelop on TV the way he was intended to and was kind of overtaken by Daryl. I'm thinking Daryl is maybe going to serve that roll. Tyreese was to important of a character to leave off the show. </p>

I was wondering that myself. I figured T Dog would have been killed a long time ago but Darryl seems to be growing into the "right hand man" role of Tyreese in the comics. It will be interesting to see if there are any inmates in the prison.

Two of those guys are pretty pivotal to the development of Rick's character. But there have been so many differences from the books who knows. All I do know is that if they show half the stuff that happens in that prison this show will be insane next year.</p>

Since we now know everyone is a carrier is it ok to getbit since you are a carrier anyways? Or does the bite speed up the process and you become a zombie right away?

So, If you get bit it either activates the virus and takes over. Or you get sick and die from a zombie bite and then you switch after you die.

Just read the inside cover of the book "Walking Dead Rise of The Governor". and Just Damn, I can't wait for the next season had no idea about some of the things that happen at the prison.
Who here has actually read the books and would you recommend them? Thinking about reading them.

How you die, outside of brain trauma, has no bearing on the reanimation process.
<div>
</div><div>1. You die from ANY cause (blood loss from a bite, infection from a bite, a heart attack, diabetes, drowning, etc) with your brain intact, you become a zombie.</div><div>2. You die from head trauma (gun shot/arrow/pick axe to the head, pressure from a bomb blast, etc) you don't.</div>

I never thought I would read a "comic", but it really is a good story line. I don't watch much TV other than sports, so I read quite a bit and these books are just as good of a story as anything else I read.

I recommend getting the compendiums. If you just want to read the story that is the best way to do it in my opinion. I didn't care about collecting them, so I had no intrest in the individual books or the hard back editions. The compendiums have something like 48 chapters in each book. The hard backs have maybe 12 and obviously the individuals are one. For the money the compendium is the best route to go for reading alone.</p>

the paper back compendium was only $30 on Amazon - the msrp on the book is $50. I cant believe it is less than half of what has been written - probably weighs 10 pounds

I was reading last night that Daryl was such a popular figure on the tv show they're thinking of writing him into the comic books.
