Coincidence?
Using the words ' if he's let go" and "stay the course" are absolutely terrifying to hear!Tried to set a very weak narrative that he was turning things around by being "in" on a couple high end guys. So if/when he is fired prior to their announcements, he can point to things that were maybe going to happen but obviously weren't. Like everything else, it just didn't work for him.
Kid announced a hair too soon to cut that very weak angle. Ken is going to have 12 wins in 2 years if he's let go, and no accomplishment. With that, it's kind of hard to really care about what he thinks about anything.
KP just had no use for fans and was indifferent on wins. It's a very strange way to try building a program. That "players first" angle down the road has some teeth but there has to be more to it.
Now we wait for decision makers to tell us if something new is up or if they shockingly stay the course.
