I remember back in early 2004, when Sly Croom was freshly anointed and the new hadn't worn off him yet, me and megadawgmaniac were at a BDC function at the MS Sports HOF where he was to speak. We were lollygagging about, looking around near where Croom was giving a TV interview, and there weren't many people around, so when he was done with TV, lo and behold, Sly walked up to me and MDM and started a conversation. We chatted about this and that for a couple of minutes before this little heavyset woman just literally walked up in the middle of our conversation and co-opted Croom all for herself. I mean, there's three people standing, facing each other talking, and she inserted herself into the middle of the triangle and cut both of us off.

It was shortly thereafter that MDM noticed that the woman's nametag was Kay McDonnell. And we shook our heads and laughed.
