Has anybody noticed that JWS come around more with Mullen than he did with Croom? I don't think I ever saw him around that much during the Croom error.
Because he wasn't on the coaching staff and was being used as an agent of the football team. "Too many coaches on the field" or something like that.
I ran into Wes Shivers in the Junction once and he must have said 30 times about how great of a coach Jackie was at special teams. Truly one of the best. If we cut this "passing game coordinator" and "running game coordinator" **** out we'd have enough room for a special teams coach, and Jackie would be the best.

...have any way. The passing game coordinator was also the WR coach while Hudspeth was here. I don't think Mirando was given that title. The running game coordinator is also the OL coach, Hevesy.

I remember reading an article during his and JJ Johnson's tenure talking about how opposing DL had to find their mouth piece and re-button their chin strap (literally) every play. Can you imagine Jackies running game and mullens passing game....Jackie defenses circa 98.
