Why can’t the schools do their own streaming again? MC used to stream it on CBN and although the camera work wasn’t great and it was students commentating at least it was always a watchable stream.

They can. Brother Rice and Evanston stream their games on YouTube. It was my understanding that they couldn’t stream at all in the playoffs. Which is ridiculous.

Edit: Niles Notre Dame streams their games too. I think you can only do home games.

I didn’t mean to sound like the students were bad at commentating the game, I mostly meant that when MC did it on their own via YouTube like 6-8 years ago, the camera work wasn’t always spot on. Glad you enjoyed the students doing the game. LA will be just fine going forward and if we learned anything from last season...Don’t ever count LA out

Thanks to Michael O'Brien of the Sun-Times for this goal-line view of the play of the game: Caravan FS Marty O'Brien tossed a blocker aside and put the hammer on Loyola RB Tyler Flores, preventing a Loyola score and giving Carmel the ball.

Wild game! A lot of bogus penalties and cooky turnovers, but overall an Instant classic.

Mount Carmel’s new stadium is as good as advertised. Their student section was very loud and very vocal, and it’s been years since I’ve seen the students that involved.

But Marty O’brians hit at the goal line was the play of the game! Congrats to the Caravan! They definitely beat a top tier team

I won't argue with anyone on the crappy service by NFHS, or the fine work by the MC kids doing the game ... when the picture dropped out in the final minute, I followed the game on @Caravan Football.

One funny note - the kid who read scores got all frustrated because the info he was getting from the Rita/ Montini game all began with "Mustangs score ..." He blurts out -- they're both Mustangs!"
